About Dr. Davis Fleming

Dr. Davis Fleming (he/him/his) is a board-certified psychiatrist in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. He works with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, shame, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, burnout, and the wish to better understand themselves. His work is grounded in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approaches, and he completed psychodynamic psychotherapy training through the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis. This fall, he will begin training as a candidate in both child and adult psychoanalysis.

His care integrates psychotherapy and psychiatric treatment within an honest, straightforward relationship. The focus is on helping patients better understand the patterns that keep them stuck and move toward what feels meaningful — at a pace that feels right. He often works in a consistent weekly rhythm, and sometimes more frequently, to support deeper and more lasting change. When appropriate, medication may be part of care through shared decision-making.

His approach emphasizes curiosity over judgment, with close attention to the emotional patterns, relationships, and inner conflicts that shape a person's life. For those interested in depth work, treatment may evolve over time into more intensive psychotherapy or psychoanalysis.
